I blogged my last post in Thai because it’ relevant to Thailand in particular, but from now I will blog mainly in English
I have been working on my start-up for the last 6 months and Murphy’s Law (Anything that can go wrong will go wrong) has repeated itself again and again. Ok, perhaps I overstated it. But many things didn’t go according to plan.
We just had our first event yesterday (Sat, Feb 13), we had been preparing for this for over 3 months but the followings still happened.
1 We have to produce 20 designs but our suppliers sent us just 14 designs on Fri, Feb 12, just one day before the event. We had just one dress per design for models but not for sell. We had to apologize to our designers, whose designs were not available for sell at the event.
2 We needed to upload all product pictures to our website and ,again, the photographer sent us pictures on Fri, Feb 12, just one day before the event.
3 Our venue had an accident just a week before the event, so we had to tweak the layout of our event at the last-minute which result in a much smaller usable space.
I’m not going to say that you shouldn’t plan anything ahead but I just want to warn that we should always be ready for the unexpected. After all, life is full of unexpected.
